jewellery
Each jewellery piece is a unique artistic narrative, carefully composed of gathered materials sourced over many years and many places. A collection of the disused, discarded, weird and wonderful.
I individually design and handweave each piece, before the components are assembled, resulting in sculptural, textural jewellery, that look and feel exquisite.

Caring for your jewellery
Each piece of jewellery is unique and needs to be treated as such.
-
As the saying goes ‘Last on first off’ - to avoid the piece getting caught in clothing.
-
To minimise discolouration of the beads, avoid direct contact with all perfume, body lotion, soap, sunscreen etc. - wait until anything applied has dried.
-
If the metal components start to tarnish, they can be gently rubbed with a silver/brass polishing cloth.

The best way to store your cuff is in the box provided, made from recycled cardboard.
about
Belinda Haag is an accomplished multi-disciplinary artist working across jewellery, painting and sculpture. She works from an artist's collective studio in Sydney's iconic and eclectic suburb, Newtown.
After completing my Fine Arts Degree (majors in Australian Art and Film Studies) and working in various theatres in Sydney, I travelled the world - a journey that lasted 30 years. Exploring cultures and their histories, I was inspired to make and sell my pieces along the way.
I have always loved storytelling, mythology, cosmology, fairy tales, particularly of ancient cultures, and the myriad of ways these stories are expressed through theatre, music, dance, art and jewellery.
